SCIENTISTS FOUND A WASTE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN THE BRAIN FOR THE 1ST TIME

SCIENTISTS FOUND WASTE DRAINAGE SYSTEM IN THE BRAIN

Previously everyone thought, there is no lymphatic system in the brain, but recently scientists have found some evidence of a lymphatic system of brain by scanning of brains of healthy volunteers. The results further suggest the vessels could act as a pipeline between the brain and the immune system. It suggests that brain can influence the immune system too.

In 1816, an Italian anatomist reported finding lymphatic vessels on the surface of the brain, but for two centuries, it was forgotten. Until very recently, researchers in the modern era found no evidence of a lymphatic system in the brain, leaving some puzzled about how the brain drains waste, and others to conclude that brain is an exceptional organ. but in 2015, researchers found lymphatic vessels in the dura of mice brain.

In this research,Researches have used a dye to light up the brain blood vessels during the MRI scan. After few minutes, dye in the blood vessels was cleared but researches saw some bright spots and lines around the brain's covers which they suspected were lymph vessels. The results suggested that the dye leaked out of the blood vessels, flowed through the dura and into neighboring lymphatic vessels.

Researchers are still researching for more interesting information about the brain until that be under the wings of the Eagle.

How healthy is genetically modified soybean oil?

University of California-Riverside Soybean oil accounts for more than 90 percent of all the seed oil production in the United States. Genetically modified soybean oil, made from seeds of GM soybean plants, was recently introduced into the food supply on the premise that it is healthier than conventional soybean oil. But is that premise true? Just barely, say scientists. Researchers at the University of California, Riverside have tested a genetically-modified (GM) soybean oil used in restaurants and found that while it induces less obesity and insulin resistance than conventional soybean oil, its effects on diabetes and fatty liver are similar to those of conventional soybean oil.

HEALTH BENEFITS OF CHEWING RAW GARLIC

HEALTH BENEFITS OF CHEWING RAW GARLIC You might not make a lot of new friends if you chew on garlic, a plant used for centuries as both a pungent flavoring and a medicine. A member of the onion family, garlic contains a powerful sulfur compound called allicin, which also lends it a distinctive – and to many people, unpleasant – smell.Garlic not only makes food delicious, it may also have a number of health benefits. The allicin in garlic exhibits strong antioxidant activity – the ability to fight harmful free radicals in the body – which has led scientists to study its health-promoting properties. OFFERS AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY EFFECT  If you suffer from an inflammatory condition, it may help to consume raw garlic. A study published in "Food and Chemical Toxicology" in August 2013 found that garlic had an anti-inflammatory effect, with raw garlic exhibiting a stronger effect than garlic that had been  heated. The levels of a compound called allicin were great...

Babies are born to dance, new research shows

University of York The findings, based on the study of infants aged between five months and two years old, suggest that babies may be born with a predisposition to move rhythmically in response to music. The research was conducted by Dr Marcel Zentner, from the University of York's Department of Psychology, and Dr Tuomas Eerola, from the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Music Research at the University of Jyvaskyla.
