VEGETARIANISM CAN LEAD TO DEPRESSION

According to a National Institutes of Health (NIH) study of more than 9600 men, researchers have found that vegans have more tendency to get depression during their lives.

Nutritional deficiencies like Cobalamin or Iron deficiencies may be the cause for this.

Although vegetarian diets have been associated with decreased risks of cardiovascular death, obesity, and diabetes, It may have some bad association with mental health.

Previous research has shown that low levels of vitamin B12 and folate are associated with an increased risk for depression.Red meat contains lot of B12. If you chose to be a vegetarian, you have to follow your national guideline recommendations to ensure you have a good vitamin B12 status.

Babies are born to dance, new research shows

University of York The findings, based on the study of infants aged between five months and two years old, suggest that babies may be born with a predisposition to move rhythmically in response to music. The research was conducted by Dr Marcel Zentner, from the University of York's Department of Psychology, and Dr Tuomas Eerola, from the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Music Research at the University of Jyvaskyla.
